Renowned for their precision, strength, and dependability, Sahil Metals serves a variety of industries such as aerospace, automotive, defense, and engineering. Their Aluminium 7075 Forgings are crafted using cutting-edge forging techniques and high-quality alloys, guaranteeing an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, resistance to corrosion, and long-lasting durability. With a strong foothold in the Saudi and broader Middle Eastern markets, Sahil Metals provides cost-effective, high-performance solutions that align with international standards for demanding structural and high-performance applications.
Aluminium 7075 Forgings mainly consist of aluminum (around 87.1–91.4%) combined with zinc (5.1–6.1%), magnesium (2.1–2.9%), copper (1.2–2.0%), and some trace elements. This unique blend gives the alloy remarkable strength and toughness. It typically boasts a tensile strength of 510–570 MPa and a yield strength of 430–480 MPa, along with good fatigue resistance. While it can be heat-treated, it still offers moderate corrosion resistance. The mechanical properties of 7075 make it one of the strongest aluminum alloys out there, making it perfect for forged components in high-stress situations.

Yes, Aluminum 7075 can be forged into shapes with tight tolerances. Its high strength allows for precise shaping, but careful control of temperature and pressure is required for optimal results.
Aluminum 7075 offers high strength, excellent fatigue resistance, low weight, good machinability, and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for custom forgings in aerospace, military, and high-performance applications.
Aluminum 7075 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications due to its relatively low melting point and limited thermal stability. It is better suited for aerospace and structural applications at moderate temperatures.
Aluminium 7075 Forgings find extensive use in aerospace applications, including wing spars, fuselage frames, and landing gear, thanks to their impressive strength-to-weight ratio. They’re also popular in automotive racing parts, military gear, structural components, and high-performance sporting goods. The alloy’s excellent machinability and fatigue resistance make it a go-to choice for precision engineering tasks where both strength and weight savings are essential. Plus, it holds up well under stress and in extreme conditions, making 7075 forgings an ideal option for critical, load-bearing components.
