Aluminium 2014 Forgings mainly consist of 3.9–5% copper, 0.2–0.8% manganese, 0.5–0.9% magnesium, ≤0.7% silicon, ≤0.5% iron, ≤0.2% chromium, ≤0.15% zinc, ≤0.15% titanium, with aluminum making up the rest. This alloy is known for its impressive strength and fatigue resistance.
