Sahil Metals stands out as a reliable manufacturer and supplier of Aluminium 5052 Forgings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They pride themselves on delivering top-notch products designed for industries that demand strength, corrosion resistance, and durability. Aluminium 5052 is a magnesium-based alloy that doesn’t require heat treatment and is known for its exceptional resistance to marine and chemical environments. With its impressive weldability, workability, and fatigue strength, it’s one of the most adaptable aluminum alloys out there. Sahil Metals employs precise forging techniques and adheres to international quality standards, offering tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of their customers. Aluminium 5052 forgings find their place in marine, automotive, transportation, architectural, and chemical sectors, where longevity and reliability are essential.
Aluminium 5052 Forgings consist of 2.2–2.8% magnesium, 0.15–0.35% chromium, ≤0.25% zinc, ≤0.10% copper, ≤0.45% iron, ≤0.25% silicon, with the rest being aluminum. This blend ensures excellent corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and industrial settings. On the mechanical side, Aluminium 5052 boasts a tensile strength of 210–280 MPa, yield strength of 90–130 MPa, elongation of 12–20%, and a Brinell hardness of about 60 HB. It’s a non-heat-treatable alloy that gains strength through cold working, offering a great mix of fatigue resistance, toughness, and formability. Its combination of strength and corrosion resistance makes it an ideal choice for forged components in challenging environments.

Aluminum 5052 offers excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, good weldability, and formability. It's lightweight, durable, resistant to stress cracking, and performs well in marine and industrial environments, making it ideal for custom forgings.
Aluminum 5052 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications due to its relatively low melting point and poor high-temperature strength. Alloys like 7075 or 2011 are better suited for such applications.
Aluminum 5052 has excellent workability, making it suitable for forging. Its low-to-medium strength, good corrosion resistance, and formability allow for ease in shaping, reducing the risk of cracking during forging.
Aluminium 5052 Forgings are a popular choice in the marine industry, often found in boat hulls, tanks, and offshore structures thanks to their impressive resistance to seawater. They’re also commonly used in the automotive and transportation fields for fuel tanks, chassis parts, pressure vessels, and panels. Beyond that, you’ll find them in architectural components, chemical processing equipment, pipelines, and welded structures. Their remarkable fatigue resistance makes them ideal for aerospace support structures and heavy-duty machinery. With Aluminium 5052 forgings, you get long-lasting performance that beautifully blends durability with top-notch corrosion protection, whether in industrial settings or marine environments.
