Aluminium 1070 Forgings consist of ≥99.7% aluminum, ≤0.20% silicon, ≤0.25% iron, ≤0.04% copper, ≤0.03% manganese, ≤0.03% magnesium, along with trace amounts of zinc and titanium. This nearly pure composition guarantees excellent corrosion resistance, reflectivity, and thermal conductivity. In terms of mechanical properties, Aluminium 1070 boasts a tensile strength ranging from 60 to 100 MPa, yield strength between 20 and 30 MPa, elongation of up to 35 to 40%, and a Brinell hardness of about 20 HB.
