Stainless Steel 446 Bars and Rods are mainly made up of iron, chromium (23–27%), manganese, silicon, and small amounts of carbon and sulfur, with very little nickel. This ferritic stainless steel grade showcases remarkable oxidation resistance at high temperatures, reaching up to 1100°C. In terms of mechanical properties, it boasts a tensile strength of about 485 MPa, a yield strength of 275 MPa, and a hardness of up to 217 HB.
