Stainless Steel 430 Square Bars/Rods are ferritic stainless steels that typically contain 16–18% chromium, along with low carbon content (up to 0.12%) and trace amounts of manganese and silicon. This unique composition grants them good corrosion resistance in mildly corrosive settings and excellent formability. On the mechanical side, SS 430 boasts a tensile strength ranging from 450–600 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa. While it has moderate ductility and decent thermal conductivity, it doesn’t harden through heat treatment.
