Stainless Steel 430 Hollow Bars are ferritic stainless steels that typically contain 16–18% chromium, along with low carbon content (≤0.12%) and small amounts of manganese, silicon, and nickel. This unique composition provides the material with good resistance to oxidation and corrosion in mildly corrosive environments. In terms of mechanical properties, SS 430 boasts a tensile strength of about 450–600 MPa and a yield strength of around 205 MPa. It offers moderate ductility and excellent thermal conductivity. While it can’t be hardened through heat treatment, it still possesses good mechanical properties, making it perfect for applications that require a balance of moderate strength and corrosion resistance.
