Stainless Steel 420 Hollow Bars are martensitic stainless steels that contain 12–14% chromium, along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, sulfur, and carbon levels ranging from 0.15–0.40%. When heat-treated, they can achieve a tensile strength of 700–850 MPa, a yield strength of about 450 MPa, and a hardness of up to 500 HB. This grade offers moderate corrosion resistance while excelling in wear resistance, toughness, and polishability.
