What is Hastelloy Round Bars?

Nickel-based Hastelloy round bars are supplied in some grades such as C22, C276, B2, and B3, each of which has particular resistance levels. These alloys generally contain elements like chromium, molybdenum, cobalt, iron, and tungsten. They possess high tensile strength (690–800 MPa), fine ductility, and excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Hastelloy round bars do not lose their mechanical integrity at aggressive conditions of temperature and chemicals and hence are best suited for fabrication, machining, and application in structural and pressure-bearing parts.
