What is Hastelloy B2 Forgings?

Nickel-molybdenum Hastelloy B2 consists of about 69% nickel and 28-30% molybdenum with negligible iron and carbon content. It shows superior resistance to reducing media, particularly hydrochloric acid, and has better thermal stability compared to the previous alloys. Hastelloy B2 forgings have high tensile strength (approximately 760 MPa), adequate ductility, and stress corrosion cracking and pitting resistance.
